Before you hire any domestic worker you need to carry out thorough investigation on them, visit any address they have submitted to you, ask questions about them when you get there and even if they submit names of references to you carry out investigations on them too. These background checks will give you facts and figures to prove genuiety and will help you understand and know who you are hiring. These process may be lengthy but it will save you the heartaches to prevent what happened to the Orekoya's family from happening again. Finally some of us put too much information about ourselves on social media. Your pictures are there, that of your spouse your children, your home address, phone numbers etc making it easy for anyone to track you.
